La leucemia linfobl?stica aguda (LLA) es la enfermedad que mayor incidencia tiene en ni?os en edad preescolar. Dicha enfermedad consiste en la proliferaci?n incontrolada de c?lulas hematopoy?ticas. Es considerada una enfermedad grave, que amenaza la vida del ni?o que la padece, aunque actualmente el pron?stico es cada vez m?s favorable. La gravedad de la enfermedad genera en el ni?o y en su familia m?ltiples y distintas reacciones emocionales, como incertidumbre, ansiedad, miedo o culpa entre otras. Cada etapa de la enfermedad tiene un impacto diferente en el ni?o y familia a nivel psicol?gico. Este da?o psicol?gico, depende tambi?n de la edad, la red de apoyo, el conocimiento de la familia sobre la propia enfermedad, o el pron?stico de la misma. Es importante conocer la percepci?n de cada ni?o y familia para ayudarlos en el afrontamiento de la enfermedad, a lo largo de las distintas fases. Las intervenciones de enfermer?a ser?n distintas en cada una de esas etapas, y vitales para la adaptaci?n del ni?o y la familia a la nueva situaci?n.Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a disease of higher incidence in preschoolers. This disease is uncontrolled proliferation of hematopoietic cells. It is considered a serious disease that threatens the life of the child who has it, but now the outlook is increasingly favorable. The severity of the disease causes in children and its many and various emotional reactions, such asuncertainty, anxiety, fear or guilt among other family. Each stage of the disease has a different impact on the child and family psychological level. This psychological damage also depends on the age, the support network, family knowledge about the disease itself, or prognosis of it. It is important to know the perception of each child and family to assist them in coping with the disease throughout the different phases. Nursing interventions will be different in each of these stages, and vital to the child's adjustment and family to the new situation.
