Raised in Racism is a collage of stories, told from the eyes of the author. Like many of us, there were many times in David's life when racism impacted him or someone he knew. Although all racism comes from a negative place, there is always the choice between returning evil for evil or rising above the hate to find good... and Living in Freedom.From the road he grew up on where the invisible boundary separated people by race, to the cities where he has lived that still judge a person by the color of their skin, the book describes scenarios many of us can relate to. Whether you see it through the lens of a parent that may come from a more racist background, of a multi-racial child who sometimes doesn't feel like they belong, or the friend who is forced to choose between friends, this book lets you know that you can change, that you do belong, and that true friends would never ask you to choose them over someone else. Lastly, this book points you to hope... Hope for a better tomorrow where people are seen for who they really are and not judged because of their skin color.
