The Modern Odyssey is a recollection of the memories of a girl. Lass is a simple girl from the border areas of India's terrorist prone state, Jammu and Kashmir. Simple is not a suitable adjective for her. She was not Draupadi, a figure of Hindu mythology, but her fate was similar to hers. This woman possessed the indestructible will of Draupadi and never gave up. She was married five times but why is it only her fifth husband that was chosen by her?
