Papayo: The Peruvian Puppy

Papayo is a Peruvian puppy who enters each day with excitement as he conquers many adventures with which he is faced. From exploring the Andes Mountains along the Inca Trail, to daily chores on his small village farm; readers get a glimpse into the lives of the free-roaming dogs in South America! Papayo is a real puppy living outside of Cusco, and I had the pleasure of meeting him during my travels to Peru. My own heart felt compelled to share this story since Papayo reminded me so much of my own puppy, Felix, back home in Charlotte, North Carolina. Yet, they lived completely different lives.
