Crosswords for Children 10+

The book contains a challenging set of 52 crossword puzzles for children in 5th or higher grades. The puzzles incorporate historical and geographical questions, basic science, famous contributors to our society, Latin quotations, Roman numerals, Greek mythology, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, and Spanish words and phrases. The book, however, mostly focuses on explaining the meaning of words and phrases that are not covered in school but encountered in newspapers, books, or heard while children listen to adult conversation.
