The proceeds obtained from the sales of this chapbook will go to the Center for Economic Education, a non-profit organization with the mission to teach students from k-12 about the economy and personal finance. This chapbook is a collection of poems with various themes and a short story with a twisted ending. I created this chapbook with the mission to establish a partnership between my school, Lawrence High School in Massachusets, and the CEE so that my fellow students learn about the importance of financial literacy given that most people in Lawrence make terrible monetary decisions merely because they are not well informed on how to make them. My goal is to get everyone from Lawrence to know how to handle money because all jobs and careers deal with it and the school system only prepares us for factory jobs and topic-specific jobs like mathematicians and physicists.
