As the world approached the year 2000 (Y2K), a catastrophe was expected. Digital clocks in millions of computers were predicted to fail and take down net-works world-wide. Americans were warned to stockpile food, fuel, water, and survival gear. ------ The author started stockpiling and also began a journal. He journaled through that momentous New Year's Eve, and on through the terrorist attacks of 2001, and on into the terrifying new millennium as the climate began to spin dangerously out of control. ------ Meanwhile there were the small things of daily life in New York City to be recorded, and visitations with the author's little daughter across town...
