Sandaka : A Multifarious Tragedy

Although depicted by tragedy, Sandaka tackles all issues facing the evolving modern African society in an entertaining and almost humorous way. Sandaka is a suburb located in the fictional city of Ruhare. It is characterized by high levels of poverty which mostly leads the characters giving their dolorous narrations into the inexorable doom unraveling before their eyes. The fourteen intertwined tales are linked by characters, and events that transpired within the confines of this decadent neighborhood. Experience a different take on morality, religion, and kinship from each narrator's perspective. A literary man once told me "A great story is easily told, but can only remain great when the word 'I' still precedes it.."... Sandaka adopts a first person narration in the belief that even the misunderstood bad guy has his own version of events, hence who else better to tell it than him...
