Peter, The Perfect Disciple

Peter went from claiming he would die with Jesus to cowering down and trying to get lost in the crowd. How does that make you feel toward Peter? I am sure you don't look at Peter, in that moment, with great respect and admiration. I'm sure Peter did not look back on it as one of his better moments. But Peter is still a perfect disciple because he did not quit. When he crossed the finish line he was scarred, bruised, and battered, but he crossed the finish line.
