This is the prequel to my book, "Titanic Uncovered." On a train ride from Cody, Wyoming to New York, Frank Middleton relates his life story to dime novel writer Daniel Mclaughlin. At the age of thirteen, in 1865, when he ran away from home until 1912, Frank Middleton tells his story, from being a small time crook, to a scout with General Custer, to sheriff, to a Pinkerton detective. He tells his stories about the west when it was wild and his friendships with Seth Bullock and other colorful characters from Deadwood. This is Frank Middleton's life story.
