The Lost Locket : A Now And Then Story

A NOW and THEN story brings together the past and the present. In "The Lost Locket" by Virginia Rank Griesse the pioneer past of the 1870s and the post-war happy days of the 1950s come together because of a gold locket engraved MRM. And a present-day Grandmother recalls the 'locket story' to her grandchildren. Maggie and her pioneer family settle a claim in Nebraska Territory near other settlements which become the town of Yorktown.
