Dominance: Part 1: Anomaly

The CSS Vangoeth is sent to investigate a derelict ship, detected in deep space. When they arrive, they discover there is more than meets the eye, with this strange ship. It is surrounded by a spacial anomaly, unlike any the Confederation has ever discovered! Captain William Jarvis makes the decision to breech the anomaly, and investigate the odd ship. And thus begins an adventure no one had ever expected. The ship proves to be alien... and the crew of the Vangoeth finds themselves in a strange galaxy, millions of light years from home! The Vangoeth comes under attack quite soon after passing through the anomaly/barrier. And that initial combat shows the Earthlings just where they stand in the hierarchy of the galaxy they find themselves in. It may be years before the crew develop a way to get home. Now they must assume the role that seems thrust upon them in this strange part of space. The way they handle things will not only determine their own survival, but how the rest of the universe will view Earth's humanity.
