In Umuaga local community, Nengo oracle owns the sacred python; nobody scratches it's body nor kills the snake. Edochie, the unruly twelve-year old child of Ndukwe, wants to try the patience of the gods of the land. He deliberately kills and buries the sacred python, an abominable act, which triggers the anger of the gods.
