Dear Faye is Harland Hugh Jones' collection of posthumously published prose telling the story of his U.S. Army experience in the South Pacific during World War II. Edited together from the 1996 to 2010 interviews conducted by his Grandson Albert Bryce Hanner, and Harland's 1942-45 letters home to his sweetheart Faye Nedra Grigg. This is a rare opportunity to read Harland Jones' firsthand account of these difficult days so far away from his Eastern Oregon home.
