Pray : Like You Mean It

Do you remember Newton's Third Law of Motion? For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. Prayer is a place of action! Prayer is the stop that gets everything started. The moment I begin to pray, heaven is called to action. God moves when people pray. Prayer is leveraging the power of the cross and in doing so, impossible things become possible things. When we work, we work, but when we pray, God goes to work. No wonder Jesus said that we ought to pray always and not lose heart. He wasn't suggesting we participate in more religious duty. Knowing the power of prayer, He was encouraging us to move mountains. When we win in prayer, we win everywhere. Prayer is truly the difference between the best you can do and the best God can do. Prayer is not begging God to do something He does not want to do. Prayer is enforcing Christ's victory over ungodly circumstances. It is carrying out, on Earth, decisions already made in Heaven. Show me how you pray, and I will show you your future. When you pray, pray big! Take the limits off. Spiritual breakthroughs come only to those who want them badly enough.
